Science of Natural & Environmental Systems (SNES),
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

The Science of Natural and Environmental Systems major is a physical- and biological-science based major that addresses the interface of environmental science and human activity using a broad range of disciplines. The mission of this environmental major is to provide integrated rigorous instruction in four major areas of environmental science: biological (Ecology and the Environment), economic (Environmental and Resource Economics), physical (Environmental Chemistry: Soil, Air, Water), and social (Environment and Society).

New opportunity for students - the Environ-Mentor Program

Environ-mentors coordinates mentoring relationships between undergraduate and graduate students interested in environmental science. The program connects junior and senior majors in Biology-EEB, Natural Resources, SES, and SNES with graduate students in the same or a related field.
